Intro Blog: Hey, it's me!


 Hello blogger, its me Laudjah. You guys don't know me, so lets get to know me. My favorite place to go in the whole world is the beach. Being there in the morning, during the day, or at night is amazing. The water is wonderful, laying on the sand is delightful, and just the serenity of it all, chefs kiss. Although I love the beach, I hate how crowded it is most of the time, like so annoying. My number two favorite place would have to be going to the mall, especially with friends. Whether you're there to shop, walk around, or eat it's always really fun. Now that I've mentioned eating, i love to eat. Even though I eat like a seven year old and is a very picky eater, that is literally one of my favorite hobbies. I love to eat buffalo wings, chicken tenders, steak, grilled chicken, and fries, omg i love fries. My favorite places to eat are Chick-fil-a, Chipotle, Taco bell, Pollo Tropical, and Ricco's pizza. I love food so much I could talk about it forever, but lets move on. Now lets talk about my family and my culture. I love my family so much and my culture. My family is from Africa and came from their country, Burundi, during a civil unrest in the 1990's. Them coming to America was really brave of them and I am forever grateful. I have 3 older sisters, two of them were born in Africa as well. My parents made sure to still teach me and their culture, the food, the dances, and the cultural clothing. I also love the color yellow, I know it's an uncommon color, but it's been my favorite since I can remember. Even though I live in Florida I hate heat, the rain, the humidity, and how crazy people are down here. I also don't like school. I am grateful for the education that is provided to me. I just don't like waking up early and being away from home for like 7 hours. To end it off on a good note, I love listening to music. It brings me so much peace and joy during my day. My favorite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, and Frank Ocean. But that's it for now blog.

Hey Bloggers! I haven't done a production blog in so long, not since the last project. I cannot wait to write and post these upcoming blogs. Originally, my group and I were supposed to film at the end of January, but we had some minor setbacks. First, two of the group members got sick so we couldn't film any scenes. We found that it would be inconvenient to begin filming because our plan was that whoever is going to be in the scene that is being recorded will be the cameraman so, we chose to wait until everyone was ready to film. Now we were ready to film... or so we thought. After they had recovered, one of the group members got in trouble. To overcome this obstacle, we decided to film the scene where they were not in. Editing Blog: Part 2

 Hey Blogger! In the previous blog, I stoped the editing at the photo montage. Now we continue. Not even going to hold you, I procrastinated wanting to edit. Then I remember this work isn't just for me, it's a group grade.That way of thinking gave me an extra push to finally continue. When I was actually going back and looking the footage was there, a lot needed cuts. There just a bunch of clips of us laughing and breaking character. It was so funny to go and look back on. Moving forward the editing became a group collective. Maria worked on the title sequence, since it was her amazing idea. I just added the scene of her pulling out the knife and walking then I cut it to the scene of her looking Alyssa. For this part I kept it simple since, that's what most movies do when it's a scene like that. Also, since there's a tilt and pan for those scenes, additionally things weren't really necessary.
