 Hey Bloggers! I've been having so much fun doing a project like this. It's such a new and exciting thing for me. Since I'm done filming my music video, it's time to get to editing. I personally don't have much experiences editing things. The only time I've had to edit anything was my "All About Me" commercial. Even though I have a lack of experience. I hope I am able to put together this music video. I just want to make sure that the storyline is clear and won't have anyone who's watching confused. I also want to make sure that it looks nice and pretty. I think the storyline for this music video is very recognizable. Especially since the song and everything. I just want to see the finished product. I really hope that my effort is showcased in this music video. For editing I'll be using CapCut. I'm somewhat familiar with CapCut. Hey Bloggers! My group and I were finally able to film. In the previous blog I mentioned the scheduling problem within the group, but that got figured out. In our group we decided to just stick with our original plan but change some things around. The first location used for filming was the mall. At the mall we filmed the first half of our video. During filming I couldn't stop laughing so Alyssa became like the "main" character and I was just like one of the "side" characters along with Maria. Since one of our friends couldn't help us film, our other friend Owen was able to help us. He helped film the scenes where Alyssa, Maria, and I were all featured in. I helped film most of the scenes since most of the footage was taken on my phone. Which wasn't what was used to film originally. Maria has an iPhone Xr and with that phone the quality isn't that good, but that's the quality I wanted. Maria's phone ended up dying so my phone was the backup u

 Hey Blogger! There was a slight issue in scheduling. This issue was so preventable, I was slightly irritated when it was brought to my attention. So for our music a male character is wanted, so another one of our friends said the could do it. When checking up on them and asking if they were still available it would still be a yes. Although yes things are of our control, with us being kids and all and not being able to drive, it doesn't really excuse this. So this person told us like the day before that they wouldn't be able to film because they can't drive to the beach. Yes this is out of the persons control, but that could've been communicated. My group does have a back up plan so it didn't effect us too much. It would've been nice if  our music video could've been filmed that weekend, but it will just have to be filmed this weekend, I hope. I say "I hope" because what if the person can't help us again.  Hey Bloggers! I want to talk about the story of how music video and how we got there. So after picking the song, ideas started flowing. The idea of a break up type story got thrown out there and it stuck. While Alyssa, Maria, and I were on FaceTime this is when the real thinking happened. Some friends from school will also be helping in the music video. One of our friends agreed to play like the love interest, ex, role in the music video. While brainstorming it was kind of funny. Just like the thought of all this and the production. Like having to act like we 'hate' each other in a way is just like hilarious. For this project I'm so glad we have like so much room for like creativity. Imagine if like the teacher had to pick our group and song, it wouldn't have been enjoyable.        Hey Bloggers! Lets chat a little bit about the progress of my music video. So at first me and my group picked Call Me Maybe. But ended up changing the song to Thinkin Bout You by Frank Ocean. In my group we realized that Call Me Maybe wasn't really for us. With our other classmates we realized that they were doing more like modern songs and like aesthetically pleasing songs. So we did some brain storming to find our song. Maria, Alyssa, and I hopped on a FaceTime call to pick our final song. Alyssa was screen sharing her playlist and we were listening to a couple of songs before picking Thinkin Bout You. I'm glad we went with that one instead of our first choice because I feel like we get to be more creative. But during this process it made me realize that I need better time management. Scene 1: Starts off with Laudjah looking at a picture of Blake ok her phone. Scene 2: Pans out from picture of Blake to show Laudjah looking sad. Scene 3: Laudjah messages Blake and tells him that she has been thinking about him. Scene 4: Blake gets a notification of Laudjah texting him and decides to ignore it. Scene 5: Laudjah tells her friends Alyssa and Maria about how she texted Blake that she misses him. Scene 6: Alyssa, Laudjah, and Maria are walking around the mall and see Blake. Hey Bloggers! Let’s get into the details of my music video. For the project I’m gonna be working with some friends. I’m gonna work with Alyssa, she’s in my class, and Maria, she’s in a different class. I’m working with Alyssa because I’ve known her since freshman, she’s one of my good friends, and I know she’s reliable. Maria and I just started becoming close this year and I feel like she’s a good person to work with. This wasn’t the original plan for the people I was going to work with. A friend that Alyssa and I know we’re planning on working together, but they chose to work with other people. It was slightly more out of convenience. I was kind of salty, but he loves his grades so I get it. The song chosen is “Call me maybe” by Cary Rae Jepsen. Such a iconic song. Like who doesn’t know or like this song. Hey Bloggers! I’m gonna do a little part two of my first intro blog. So I’ve discovered that one of my new favorite colors are pink. I was kind of against when i was younger because it was the stereotypical color for girls, but now I love it. I have been getting into cooking more recently. I’ve learned how to cook lemon pepper grilled chicken, steak, and vodka pasta. Even though that’s kind of basic stuff, that’s pretty good for me. I want to learn more, but just a bit scared. I’ve been learning more about my future career. I want to major in Finance or Marketing, but I know i want my minor to be business. Because like what if I want to run my own business  I’m really good at math and would love to pursue a career dealing with that. I wanted to be an orthodontist, but I’m not that good in science and medical school is science based. I want to work in a hospital, but in he administration field of things.
