Intro to Final Task


 

Hey Bloggers! I’m gonna do a little part two of my first intro blog. So I’ve discovered that one of my new favorite color is a deeper red, maybe it could be incorporated into the final task.. I've learned so much more from the start of the school year to now. I'm not even only talking school wise, but I'm also referring to things within myself. In school I've learned to manage things so much better. There was a time where I was really procrastinating and not really wanting to do my work. Don't get me wrong I was still doing my work, but it was such a longer process. I'm just glad I'm out of that little funk especially since I'm about to be staring my final task. I've also realized that I love filming, especially with my friends. Taking media studies allowed me discover that little thing about myself. When I'm filming its just a whole process, not even just the actual recording part. I feel like I'm allowed to be creative and that's fun. Then I'm allowed to have fun with my friends, win win. Although this class can be tuff at times, it's actually useful. That's also another things that I've learned. Yeah what we learn isn't stuff that you need for like everyday knowledge, but it makes it ten times better. The stuff that I've learned with the camera angles, sounds, movements, etc, that could be useful if I wanted to do a little side hustle. Smart right? I know.. I know... Hey Bloggers! I haven't done a production blog in so long, not since the last project. I cannot wait to write and post these upcoming blogs. Originally, my group and I were supposed to film at the end of January, but we had some minor setbacks. First, two of the group members got sick so we couldn't film any scenes. We found that it would be inconvenient to begin filming because our plan was that whoever is going to be in the scene that is being recorded will be the cameraman so, we chose to wait until everyone was ready to film. Editing Blog: Part 2

 Hey Blogger! In the previous blog, I stoped the editing at the photo montage. Now we continue. Not even going to hold you, I procrastinated wanting to edit. Then I remember this work isn't just for me, it's a group grade.That way of thinking gave me an extra push to finally continue. When I was actually going back and looking the footage was there, a lot needed cuts. There just a bunch of clips of us laughing and breaking character. It was so funny to go and look back on. Moving forward the editing became a group collective. Maria worked on the title sequence, since it was her amazing idea. I just added the scene of her pulling out the knife and walking then I cut it to the scene of her looking Alyssa. For this part I kept it simple since, that's what most movies do when it's a scene like that. Also, since there's a tilt and pan for those scenes, additionally things weren't really necessary.
