Filming Blog: Alyssa house and Park

 Hey Bloggers! Like I said in the last blog the filming was broken up into 2 days. For filming, the scenes that were filmed were the last stuff on the storyboard. I can't express how much I fought to go to Alyssa's house. I wasn't supposed to be able to go since I didn't have a ride. My sister ended being able to. I was so glad because my group can't be more behind. Filming started with the scene where Paige was brushing her hair while crying. This scene, just like the other one, took a little while to film. Literally trying to keep a straight face was hard and I kept laughing, so I had to eventually just leave the room. When they were done filming the focus was on the "Revenge" title shot. Maria gave the idea for the title shot.

For our title shot Maria's idea was so good, I ate it up. Even though it's not the first time a title scene was filmed like this, I loved it for the groups video. So after Paige brushes her hair she's placing her brush onto the counter as it's moving the letters like follow the move up and show up. While the brush is moving the brush transitions into a knife. That's good right? I know. I feel like my explanation doesn't do it justice, but it looks good, trust.

The next scene that was filmed Paige pulling the knife out of her bag. I simply shot that scene from a low angle. After we show her walking with it at a low angle and it cuts to a close up to her face of revenge. Next, it was a close up to Alyssa shocked face. It was kind of difficult with this scene because it felt like every face was kind of cringe, but the shot finally completed without to looking too cringy.

The following shots were filmed at the park. The park was just down the street from Alyssa house, so we could just walk there. While walking the shot of the sky was taken and when at the park the establishing shot was taken. At the park Maria started to film the missing poster of Alyssa's character "Amelia". Then I had to film my scene were I had to speak. It was hard because, again, I couldn't be serious, but I finally locked in and was able to film it. Maria and I just took turns filming those dialogue scenes since it was back and forth. Now that's it for the park!

My group and I went back over to Alyssa's house to complete the final shots. This is where it shows Paige getting a taste of revenge. For these scene's I didn't film some of it , because I wasn't in them, so Paige and Maria just took turns filming each other. The scene that featured them both Alyssa filmed that one while I reviewed the footage that was already taken.
